Hi. I’m Avril.
I used to write a lot about social impact, investment, and tech. Now, I write what I like.: currently, that’s an autobiography about surviving a difficult life.
I have an MBA from Oxford University, an MSc in International Management from the School of Oriental and African Studies, and a BA in English Literature from Fordham University.
I’ve been to 50 countries and lived in five. I love fiction, music, films, design, enormous dogs, and sticky toffee pudding. A native New Yorker, I now live in Paris.
Fun stuff: I kept a blog about Liberia and a blog about Oxford. I wrote a story about making tacos in Uganda. And in Morroco, I made a trash-to-energy business pitch at the Atlantic Dialogues.
